So I'm a month in my credit repair and working with an agency to dispute items on my cr. I've read so much about credit in this month and followed the advice the agency gave me and applied for a CC (they told me 2, but I'll get to the 2nd one later). I was approved for a Discover. I check 2 of my scores today and they jumped over 700!!!!

Let's see...my scores are up 100 pts in a month and my high limit credit card hasn't even reported yet. I say it was well worth the $49 for the first month plus the $14/mo tri-bureau credit report from freescore. I plan to keep Sky Blue for 2 more months and freescore indefinitely.

Congrats on your progress!

What agency was it you are using? I have been with one for many many months and still no luck.

I am using Sky Blue. I even just applied for a chase card...a bit too soon as my Discover hasn't reported and when I called the backdoor number, the analyst said the only thing on my report was my student loans. Meaning the baddies that were disputed were removed. She also said that I should get a CLI once Discover reports.
