That is very very sound advice, We wish you the best but be very limited on what you joing together. I recently just got married, 7 months ago, and what we have done is opened up joint savings, joint checking but also keeping our own separate checking accounts.

You need to improve your credit in order to get a decent rate on a mortgage.
