Incorrect DOFD Being Reported to EQ by NCO

I have an account that is showing it's DOFD as being 04/2005 with EQ. This was actually the last date that I submitted payment. The correct DOFD should be sometime in 2000 or 2001.

What should I do since they are obviously reporting incorrect information? I have a few more days before the SOL is up (since I last paid them in Apr 2005). Should I dispute it as being inaccurate with EQ? If I send them a DV they will probably refuse to send me any data on file since I could then show that my real DOFD was at least 7 years ago.

Didn't NCO just get sued something like 1.5 million dollars for doing this type of stuff???

EDIT: I just saw that Bank of America is reporting inaccurate data as well. This is what they are reporting on the same account with Experian:

This account is scheduled to continue on record until Jan 2012.

AND AT THE BOTTOM:

30 days as of Apr 2005, Nov 2003, Jan 2003, Feb 2002, Dec 2001

Why is it scheduled to continue on record until Jan 2012 if the first 30 day late was reported in Dec 2001???? What do I do???

I agree with scramblingin--- DOFD is the date of deliquency that never caught up prior to it being charged off/sent to collections. It isn't just the first time you were late.

And if SOL is up in April, they have until the end of April to file suit. So, SOL really isnt up until May 1st.
