Ok, I have a CA that put a Hard Inq on 11/05/07. No contact from them. On 12/03/07 they put a collection on all three CRA's (took a nice drop for that one), showing an assignment date of 09/26/07. Still no contact from them. I've been leaving it alone so far due to confusion over SOL for the debt. (CC in FL, either 4 or 5 years if it's considered Open vs Written). Anyway, assuming 5 years, it's out of SOL in 03/08.
My question is though, don't they have to contact me within 30 days of being assigned? Even letting that go, they've had my current address since Nov when they pulled credit, and still haven't attempted to contact me. when I DV them in April, should I mention this? Thanks.
