Impact is as soon as it reports. Scores are generated based on the data in your reports. If your CMS or score provider only updates on a fixed schedule (including myFICO) then the score provided by that service is going to update on its regular schedule. However, if you or a creditor pulled a score as soon the inquiry reported the impact would be seen immediately.
