In order to get anything removed from your credit report in a 30 day period (the norm), always write the bureau a letter and CC: the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney Generals Office in your State and the other 2 credit agencies. This has worked for me everytime, but make sure your information is accurate and to the point. Send copies of paid receipts etc...if addresses or inquiries are wrong, refer back to your recent reports where the information was reporting correctly or was not on your prior reports.
