Is CreditKarma Legit?

I just recently discovered that CreditKarma is a free service that helps keep track of our credit.


Naturally im skeptical to believe in free things so I was wondering if CreditKarma was actually worth using or if there is some kind of downside to it?

CreditKarma is really nice for seeing alerts to your cr's. its also nice because it is very up to date. its legit, just dont pay attention to their vantage score used, its a fako score but can be a good indicator that your fico scores are not bad.

there are good and bad things too it. the good is you get a pretty darn good accuracy on your reports for free.
all the offers are just marketing so ignore those and the scores are completely off. they're FAKO not FICO

Yea i use it too for alerts but not for score , they say my TU score is 651 but my real fico is 680.

If you have a capital one card, you're getting same thing as credit karma.

^but only for TU. CK provides you with TU as well as EQ. Plus the credit tracker on cap1 doesn't give you an actual report.

And sometimes you even get a laugh out of the alerts but hey it's a free service 

My laugh this past Saturday true story I swear it...

They tell me an account has been removed ...I log in 

2013 CC says is removed from CR's...Now mind you this is an active open account

Next box says: 

An account has been added to your CR's 

Guess what the same account they say was removed ....SMH Geez CK Lol

Next box says:

The same card is reporting a balance .....(true)

2 out of 3 ain't bad for alerts on free monitoring.....I guess
