Does anyone know please if the prime rate is currently 4%? Or 4.25%? I haven't been following the news as much lately since have been extra-busy, but it looks like another Fed hike may have recently bumped the prime rate up again to at least 4%, if someone could very kindly please provide more info?
4.25%
In much less than the time it took OP to post, he could have googled "Prime rate" and got an instant answer

Yes I did google it earlier...however, the answer I got was somewhat ambiguous as whether it was 4% or 4.25% (because it was listed as a range), hence the question.

OK, use something like http://www.fedprimerate.com/, or WSJ or bankrate.com They will be up to date

Ps, we are on a forum for a reason, not google
Yes - and I DO NOT use google. Google is good for those that are not concerned with being marked, categorized and sold.
I prefer alternatives that don't store and sell my on-line search behavior.

Or you could just do this:

I'll stick with Duck Duck Go as a search engine (on phone and PC). Not that I don't trust Google to delete all history - well actually I don't. I also don't use gmail and limit use of Google maps.
Kept my Yahoo email account (now part of Verizon which happens to be my cell phone service provider). I have Blackberry and keep my BB Classic locked down for the most part. Geo location turned off for all apps as a default. Use 3rd party browser (Browsie Browser) on my phone. Ads blocked, cookies and Java script disabled, history deletes on exit. If I want to watch a YouTube video or other video, I'll switch to a different browser app with other features enabled. I limit use with the other browsers as full functionality requires allowing some tracking and scripting.
Don't use Facebook or Twitter but I do have a LinkedIn account.
