Is there a percentage rate by which derog info drops, over the 7 year period?

OK say we have a collection on past due and we all know it stays on the report for 7 years.  We also know it affects us less as time goes by.  Does anyone know the % by which the collection impact decreases?   I can assume for the first full year it is absolute 100% . Does it decrease impact steadily say 15% less impact ea year thereafter, or does it stay at 100% for several years and then decrease.

I'm just wondering if their is a formula that is known.

No one here can give the real answer to your question...this is top secret big time. That said, any serious derogatory will do the most damage to scores for up to two years. After that, the negative affect lessens...exactly how much each year remains a secret
