As we all get our W2s and start to prepare for our annual income tax refunds, the phone calls and letter start.

Yep its the ZOMBIE DEBT.

Its 17 years old in a state with a 6 Year SOL, yet they hope that by calling you every day for a week they can get you to pay it off, or pay something and re-open the debt.

I wish Zombie Debt was as easy to stop as it is in the movies, on TV its always just a headshot and done.

It is easy to stop.  Just send them a notice under FDCPA 805(c) that they are to cease all communication with you.

That is a statutory prohibition of any further communication with you.
