Judgement Lien

Could someone explain this. If a person has a Judgement Lien on their record and it shows it will expire on 3/14/2008, does this mean -

1) It will be dropped from your credit report?

2) Can they attempt to collect after the expiration date?

Thanks, Bill

Re: Judgement Lien

Can't answer #1, but I can tell you that judgments can be renewed... Unfortunately.

A lot of this depends upon which state you live in, but generally....

1) Yes, unless renewed
2)  Yes
