When I was in college I got a cell phone, long story short. I couldnt pay the bill it went into collections. My parents paid the bill and since that time it has been on my credit report as a KD AKA Key Derogatory. I dont exactly know what it meas. But, I think its bad b/c its the one things that has hindered my FICO score. Its been paid off for about 4-5 years now and I was wondering if I could contact the cell phone company to see if they can update it and start reporting it as soemting else since its been so long? Like I said its the ONLY thing affecting me now!
