LIVID with dispute results PLEASE HELP!!

DOFD on a jcp/gemb card was 06/01, TU and EQ have it correct and it actually dropped from TU / sch to drop from EQ on 04/08.

EX had it on my record to drop 06/10, called jcp, got DOFD FROM THEM!!! Disputed with EX, came back validated today with a drop date of 09/09.

NOW WHAT!! this is a PIF delinquent account.

  Try another dispute and give the CRA the correct date as showing and verified with the other two.  If doesn't work, write a dispute letter directly to JCP

first off, THANX FOR THE SUPER FAST RESPONSE!!

i did the dispute over the phone with a rep, GAVE HER THE DOFD!!!

is there a good dispute letter out there for this that i can send to jcp?

You may want to contact JCP and ask if they can recall it from EX at the drop date.

IMO the best way to correct it is to....copy old EX  CR and either FAX or CMRRR it to them.

Dispute it as inaccurate!!!!!  point out the DOFD and what it should be. They should correct it OR if you get lucky maybe delete.

As always when the CRA pulls this -hit   file a complaint with the FTC

  I just did another dispute online giving the CRA the correct status, DOFD, and other dates.  They were changed correctly within a couple of days.

After MANY MANY MANY phone calls today to GEMB/JCP ( trying to dispute with experian), and EVERYONE telling me that I had to send a letter to their RECOVERY DEPT to correct/ dispute my report, I got a new rep who mistakenly bave me their phone number!! She was able to look up ALL GEMB ACCOUNTS!!!

  Good for you.  Sometimes it helps if you keep trying to reach a different rep.  You can always hope someone is more (or less) knowledgable and gives you better info.
