Looking for the best solution: Leave two credit cards alone or consolidate on personal loan

 I have two credit cards:

Discover  $17,000 with a rate of 9.24% payment is about $503

Chase $22,000 with a rate of 13.24% payment about $351

Am i better off leaving the cards alone and concentrating paying extra and get them paid off or consolidate both of them on a personal loan? Please share your thoughts with this.

Credit scores are Equifax: 743 Transunion: 753 Experian: 700

Thank you for your help

Moving the balances to an installment loan would probably help your scores.

But it might be difficult to find an installment loan with similar APRs.

Some ideas would be Lending Club, Prosper, and local CUs.

Best is never a universal matter.  If you can get a lower rate and can avoid racking up new charges then the loan could be better.  If not, paying down the cards could be better.
