This is the same scenario all the way around with me. Providian charged me off in 2002 or maybe less. My credit reports just say 2002 opened by Presidio. Presidio charged me off in 2004, Midland comes in and reports to all credit bureaus in 2007 as a new collections and is trying to collect.
But I just DV them today. I will see what happens. I know that I went delinquent in 2000 or 2001 with providian. So the date of first delinquency would be then. Either way it goes, I was past the SOL in 2005 or 2006 I would think. Is there a way of checking with Providian to see the date of first delinquency anybody?
