Mortgage late, even on automatic

Hello All!  Wondering if anyone has any experience/ideas on disputing a mortgage pmnt that was late b/c Wells Fargo didn't withdraw it on time.  The money was in the account, and it had already been on automatic withdrawal for several months.  Any ideas?  Do we take it up with Wells Fargo first or dispute it through the reporting agencies first?

I would call - but is this reporting on a CR?  It soundfs as though it is only a couple of days late.

Is anyone telling you it is late ar is it just that you know it was late?

Thanks for the reply!  We found out about it when we got our CR.  It's reporting as 30 days late.
