My HSBC card and my cap 1 card haven't reported balance update in 2 months

As stated in the subject, I paid off a Capitol 1 card and an HSBC card almost 2 months ago and it still lists the unpaid balance on my CR. is there anything to be alarmed about or am I being impatient? Any idea of how many points I'll gain by going from using 30% on my cc's to under 8%?

Re: My HSBC card and my cap 1 card haven't reported balance update in 2 months

Once information is reported, they have an obligation under FCRA 623(a)(2) to "promptly" update so as to maintain its accuracy.

I would send them a letter reminding them of their statutory obligation, with passage of two months being multiple reporting cycles, and thus less than "prompt."
