My Stolen Wallet with DL# and other information and what they can do with it?

Hello Board, i am new.

Never thought I would be a victim til the thieves were able to my stolen ID# and one form of major CC# from my wallet to goto my bank and withdraw cash from the teller, despite setting fraud alerts and switching bank account numbers ...

i am concerned what other things they may do with my DL# if they already had balls to go to a bank branch and withdraw money, i am worried about pay day loans? will myfico and lifelock togather help prevent this?

i added a freeze to my ss# and set up the fraud alerts with the 3major credit bureaus , but i read that check cashing/payday loan advances dont really have a tight background screening processs? so i am worried

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm sorry you're here under such circumstances, but welcome nonetheless!

First and foremost, I would call or visit a local DMV branch immediately and file your credential as stolen. It would probably help to have a police report, so file one of those as well. It will be especially beneficial if anything gets opened in your name. Also call the bank that issued the CC and get the refund process going for the cash withdraw. 

I'm not familiar with Lifelock's services as I am not a customer, but I do know it has the million guarantee, which complements the security freezes and new card/credential. You just have to watch your CRs extremely carefully and make sure the institutions you do business with are aware that your identity was stolen.

i filed police report already when it happened but i thought it was over when they decided to make a walmart purchase but than than got greedy and hit my new bank account number after it got switched , and teller failed to acknowledge alerts set , i have pending fraud investigation for the amount takin

from what i understand i read that a flag on a DL# just works when you get pulled over and the officer requires more identification to check for id? or does it come up stolen in there system, our DMV doesn't assign a new DL#

is Myfico good at catching and alerting me  of payday loans and check cashing? i didn't loose my ss# so sn't that one of the requirements on there forms when you goto one of those places

should i set freezes on all major bureaus? i just did one, and fraud alerts on all 3 ?

i will be monitoring my credit on wolf on deer

is myfico upto date and on point with letting me know if new applications are opened so i can dispute immediately?

Did you not call and cancel your credit or debit cards after losing your wallet? That was a mistake.

It depends on what you have with MyFICO for the subscription, Are you on the Basic or Ultimate plan for Identity Theft Protection?

of course i canceled my cards, i must of had a bank receipt in my wallet for the bank they went to, if you dont have  a card for that bank in that wallet or dont know your account number , they can look it up at the brank with id and one form of major credit which was canceled, but they do not call credit card company... its just to match names and they  went through the drive thru

i am worried about what else can be opened or done with my dl# , if i flag my dl# its only good for traffic pullovers, not much for citations, not much to safeguard opening accouts , whats there to protect me more ?

Go to the DMV, take the police report, have them cancel your old drivers license and get a new one issued. 

Do that and they can't open anything with it.

i got the all in 3 plus id theif protection plan,

 in my state they do not cancel and redo/give new dl# regardless of police report

they flag it , but thats really for on the road, nothing to the extent of safeguarding from opening accounts

how do i know if they set up mail fowarding? i had all my delivered so far this week and last week, new cards and health insurance cards, but coming days new bank statements but i have set alets and passwords, they still dont knw my SS# ...

i noticed my ebay item arrived in my city but than arrived a t a different post offce one city over, and thats never happened?

am i getting closer to maybe nabbing these people?
