My first "what's helping your credit"!!!!

I pulled my TU today since they seem to be my best score (even though they started as my worst) and I've made LESS progress with them than with EX and I have my first ever GOOD thing on the credit scale!

What's helping your fico score? "You have many accounts in good standing."  Really it's just two, my SL and my new BofA secured... Orchard and CJ still aren't reporting, but hey I'll take what I can get.  It's my first GREEN compared to all my REDS on the scale.

My Util is also down from 367% to 186% since I finally have a revolving account offsetting some of that darn Crap1 CO.

Yay for my first green box.  All in all TU is only up 6 points since in the last 20 days, but hey 6 points every 20 days is better than none Smiley Happy

I couldn't resist using the new 25% off coupon (7yrsale expires April 30)
Start 2/2008: TU 495 || EX 539 || EQ 528
Now 5/2013: TU 716 || EX ??? || EQ 702

Slate: $5000 Simplicity: $5000 David's Bridal: $3500 SW Chase: $3000 FNBO: $3000 Barclay NFL: $2500 BofA: $2400 Discover IT: $1700 Walmart: $1500 Victoria's Secret: $1000 Cap1: $750 Amex Zync: NPSL
(2 derogs to go until I'm squeaky clean in 2014!)

Whoa! I think there's something wrong with your math...

It's amount owed / credit limit X 100 = util % Smiley Happy

Congrats on the green box.  With a bit of work, the scale will be tipping away from red! Smiley Happy

Re: My first "what's helping your credit"!!!!

Nope that's right off my reports Moobs.
It's because I had no revolving credit until I got my secured bofa card, so all my old charge offs (namely Crap1) were reporting over inflated balances with no open credit limits.

where do you find the "utilization" on a report. I have never seen it on one of mine before. I would love to see what mine is!

For me personally, it's one of the "what's HURTING your score" red boxes on the scale So I find it on like the second page haha otherwise I think you have to figure it out yourself

It also appears on the second page under "What's helping your FICO score:"

You've limited the use of your available credit.
Ratio of your revolving balances to your credit limits
1%
For FICO High Achievers, this ratio is 7%, on average.

Your FICO score evaluates your total revolving account balances in relation to your total credit limits on those accounts. Your FICO score was helped because you've kept this ratio of balances to credit limits low.

I used to tell people that it is on everyone's report but have since learned that I was wrong. If it is on, then it is located on either page 2 or 3 of MyFICO's TU report or MyFICO's EQ report pulled from this site.
