Re: MyFico Score Watch

Good question, unfortunately I don't know either.  I have only recieved notices, once a week, via email, stating no alerts :smileysad:

Begin; FICO 1/11 TU 672, EQ 654.......1/15 EX 649
Current; FICO 3/21 TU 709, EQ 677 ....3/26 EX 660
Goal 720 across the board :smileyhappy:

Re: MyFico Score Watch

You get weekly checks for score changes.  And more regular checks for certain events that you set in the settings.

You do not get an alert immediately on the same day as new information appears on your credit report.  It usually comes between 1 and 3 days later.

It is great for monitoring changes to your score over time and gives a real FICO.  My score fluctuates frequently since I have a handful of current credit cards and installment loans.  Sometimes I see alerts or score updates every week... if my balances aren't changing much then I might only see one update for the whole month.  It depends on your credit report activity.

OP, also read the Score Watch Guide. It has a wealth of info as to what it will catch and what it won't, including a breakdown of the two types of alerts: score and credit.

myFICO is the consumer division of FICO. Since its introduction 20 years ago, the FICO® Score has become a global standard for measuring credit risk in the banking, mortgage, credit card, auto and retail industries. 90 of the top 100 largest U.S. financial institutions use the FICO Score to make consumer credit decisions.
