When I applied for my cashRewards from NFCU they pulled EQ and when I received my letter it was the exact same score that was listed on myFICO.com Not sure why yours would be different, YMMV I guess! Happy Easter all!

Re: MyFico is a Fako Equifax??

Yes. The myfico scoring here represents the correct: poor, good, excellent ratings. I was only looking at freecreditreport.com for so long and my scores were barely increasing when I felt they should have been increasing more. My scores never got above 700 and after 3 years, I got tired of waiting and started apping and found out my highest fico score at that time was 754!!! I could have apped sooner if I knew the scores lenders were pulling were higher. So the fakos rated me fair but myfico rated me good-to-excellent and that difference led me to garden for an extremely long time. Longest streak was 10/2010 to 7/2012. This is why I hate the fakos...they mislead people!

Re: MyFico is a Fako Equifax??

But now you know you can't go by 1 FAKO score as a guide, if you look at serveral, they give you a clue you might want to pay for a FICO if you're even thinking of applying.  if there are 40 FICOS, it's impossible to get an idea of credit range by checking just 1 FAKO.

So those that don't want to (or really can't) spend the extra $ to check FICO often, can at least get an idea when they might want to pay the money to verify a few FAKO indicators with a FICO.   That's why I say, if someone is serious about wanting to apply, look at the FAKOS then buy the FICO to be sure.
