NFCU

Has anyone joined NFCU after a parent has passed away. I heard that people have had luck getting in. What do you think?

Re: NFCU

Your best bet is to simply call the NFCU customer service reps. They are super friendly and will certainly work with you to find any way possible to make you a member versus denying you membership. Their membership qualifications are on their website but they do find work arounds sometimes. It certainly would be easier if the qualifying parent was a member before their death. But Their reps will be able to tell you if it is possible.

Best financial advice I ever got: "Just imagine what an adult would do and do that."
