That I do not know, my welcome letter seems to have gotten lost in the mail and they're sending a new one.

Re: Navy Federal softing me. A lot.[ New ]

Whoops, I lied.  I have an auto loan offer.  I don't need a new car, but I was planning on refinancing my current auto loan later.  Do you think I can use the auto loan offer for a refi?

Current Score: 02/27/13 TU 605; EQ 589; EX 607 fako seedling-transparent.png
Goal Score: 625 for now

Why would you want to refinance a car loan? If you do it you'll kick yourself in the behind for the rest of your life. Just think about all the costs you would pay all over again besides the fact you would have a new loan.
UNLESS of course you've done the math & it would be to your benefit, but that's rarely the case.
A few things to know before you consider it:
The difference, in points from the old loan to the new one?Calculate that total amount. Ask the finance guy to list all associated costs for the transaction. Now you should know how much it'll cost to do it. All you need to do next is figure out how much you would save, over the entirety of the loan and then you'll have your answer.
