Need advice to increase the score from 720 to 740 +

Hi,

I am currently having the score of 720 +. I would need to increase my score to 740+ in about 3 months. I am going for a mortgage loan in june. I need to touch 740 + by then.

I have 6 credit cards. My utilization is 1 to 2 % on those cards. All the cards are maintained really well.

I have auto loan with the balance of 19000$.  When i opened this account, the balance was 22100$. 

If i pay 1000$ for the auto loan payments, will i have increase in my credit score.

Please suggest me any advices to increase my credit score to 740 +

I doubt that paying down the auto loan (installment) will help you, since such loans are not factored into utilization like revolving debt.

For the CCs, I'd make sure that only one of them reports a small balance, with the others at $0.  There are lots of threads on this topic around here.

Beyond that, I'd try to deal with derogatories on your reports, if you have any.
