Lori, how awful for you! I just can believe how unfair some things are. The one enlightening thing is I never knew how collection agency work. Also just that nobody really cares.........the lawyers do not care, the judges do not care, the cours do not care.
We are suing UHC. We are waiting to hear back if our settlement offer was excepted by the collection agency.
When we sue UHC, it will probabley take years to settle but at this point it's on principle.
I'll post again once I hear if our offer for settlement was excepted.
