Need some advice on what i should do....

[ Edited ]

Hello everyone I'm back needing some advice..I pulled my fico scores and CR's
from myfico.com..Out my 3 reports I have 3 collections that only show up on
trans union and one of those are from 2006 and i hope it drops off soon...The
other 2 collections i have are medical from where my insurance didn't cover all
the cost and I never paid the remaining balance..At this time I'm working on trying to have those removed..The other thing that is
affecting all 3 scores is late payments on my student loan from 2009 to most
recent being early 2012.

Now on all 3 reports it states my amount of new credit is not good and I'm

looking to try and fix that..I don't have no credit cards at all and I know
that's hurting me..As stated above in my other post i applied for a capital one
card last month and was denied..Also our pet dog got badly sick and we didn't have the funds right then and there to pay for everything up front so we applied for vet credit at our local vet and was denied once again for credit..I had 2 inquiries in short time for pretty much nothing..The
2 inquiries showed on my trans union and only 1 of them showed on my experian
report which was the capital one and its the only inquiries I now have on that
one..The capital one also showed on my equifax report.

What I need advice on is moving forward and trying to get a credit card or

two to help jump my credit but I hate  to take more hits on my credit for
nothing..If you guys was me how would you approach this..Would you wait a while and
keep trying ? What would the best option and cards to try for ?

I presume the Cap 1 credit you applied for was unsecured. If you check with your bank or local CU and see i about getting a  secured credit card.

I would look at applying for a secured card from BoA. BoA will eventually unsecure and grow with you. Other than that, I would just wait for the collections to age off before applying for anything else.
