I have a negative account that has been dropped from 2 of the 3 credit bureaus. It's been at least 5 months since they were dropped from Transunion and Equifax. (I think longer) Experian still showing. Date of first deliquency was in 2009. I paid in full back then. I know this can stay on your credit report for 7 1/2 years.
Why was it dropped from 2 of the credit bureaus and not Experian? Is it the credit bureaus discretion on when to drop a negative account even if it is less than 7 1/2 years?
Was thinking about contacting credit company letting them know this was dropped from 2 of 3 bureaus and ask them to have negative tradeline removed from Experian but I don't want to open a can of worms and see them put it back on the other 2 reports.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
I would call Experian and ask them for early removal.

Thanks Veg. I'll give that a shot.
