Net 1st National Bank

I'm new to this forum, I love all the info available. In December I hired someone to fix my credit. I got her name through a Mortgage company. I find it worth the money because at the time I did not know half of what I do now on fixing credit. She has been doing a very good job. One thing I noticed today is Net First National bank claims I had a credit card through them. Umm no I did not in fact I have military orders to prove I was not in the country. I know they can say I could have applied through the internet but I was in Korea with little internet service avail so I know thats not the case. It was opened Dec 01 the account does not report as closed. I just searched them and it says the company is closed. What would be my next move, I do not think they could verify it since they do not exist. Thanks Rebecca Message Edited by credithopefull on 02-23-2008 10:39 AM I listed this it reports in Jan and Feb of 02 I paid a agreed. NO I did not since I did not know I owned the card! Re: Net 1st National Bank

Hi Rebecca! Welcome to the forum. Smiley Happy

Oh geez.....if that popped up on my CR, I'd be freaking out, thinking identity theft. But admittedly, I'm an alarmist.

My first thought would be to pull ALL your CR's from all 3 CRA's, and compare the 3 to see if it's on all of them. Secondly, I'd dispute with the CRA's that the account isn't mine.

But do not act on what I say. It's never happened to me(knock on wood).

Suggest you do nothing until you've formed a course of action based on the input of others, here. I'm sure they will chime in shortly.

Good luck to you. Smiley Happy

Re: Net 1st National Bank

Yes its on all three. Not sure what is going on. I believe I have disputed everything on my credit. I know the woman I am working with said the second package of letters went out to weeks ago which is the follow up from the verified accounts.

My scores are
Ex 507
EQ 557
TU 613

As you can see I wrecked havoc on my own.

The other thing that annoys me is AFNI is collecting A verizon account for a phone # I never had. I was military and I think I'm getting other occupants either former tenants or the people after me info on my CR. Probably all military Hmmm funny thing wonder if any of my bills show on theirs! I have plenty of my own damage on my report so not likely.

Re: Net 1st National Bank

net 1st national bank was taken over by  RTC/FDIC  in feb of 2002  they are out of business.  you should dispute this possibly through FDIC.
