usually you just submit app again for lower amount.

I'm trying to help my dad rebuild. He applied for $5K and was declined with a 611 score. Should he try to rapply and just ask for $500?
im curious. were you able to recon this? or what did you do?

I'd just reapply for the $500. That's what I did. Should be the same pull if it's been less than thirty days.
