No effect on score?

I've had two changes on my EQ report.
They hate me.
That being said, my new BofA cc posted on 3/15 as a new account, and the balance changed from $0 to $31 (on a 300 card).  I thought I'd see some sort of change in score from these two actions, but there's been nothing at all...  However when Cap1 added the monthly interest on my CO in March my score dropped 6 points.

What's going on?
Am I wrong to think that my score should have changed when the new acct hit because of a) change in average age of accts and b) change in Utl?  And then when the Utl on that card went from nothing to just over 10% shouldn't something have happened there too?

Re: No effect on score?

The new acct should have cost you some points, but adding a new account which positively affected utilization helped you. It was probably a wash. It may have balanced out.

CapOne adding interest increased you utilization which could have hurt. But, from DW's experience, everytime they updated the balance, CapOne added for her a "CO" remark in the month being reported. Basically a 90+ late was added. This occurred every month. If this happened, 6 point loss is possible.

Re: No effect on score?

I guess I'm just aggravated because EQ seems at a standstill for me.  I really just want to see some sort of movement in score with them just to know that well... they're alive?

My getting score watch was probably a bad idea rofl  I probably should have just lived happily watching my Fako's dance around until curiousity forced me to pull a REAL report/score.
