North Shore Agency?

This company sent me a "collection" letter to try and get payment for Publishers Clearing House.

It is for magazines that I never ordered.  I was told that this Co. is a joke and that magazine Co's can't/wont send you to a legit collection agency that reports to the cra's.

Should I be worried?  I figured I would check here, because I wanted to hear from the pro's.

They are not reporting to the cra's.

What do you think?

Thanks!!

Re: North Shore Agency?

I would DV it. Don't wait for it to show up on your reports - only makes it that much harder to remove!

Re: North Shore Agency?

Agreed to the DV. I had them after me in 1997 when I had a Columbia House acct for music (are they still in business?). The debt was for about $15. NSA was the CA. I still have all their letters; they sent them relentlessly for about a year then they disappeared. Of course, I did move during that time.

I don't think they ever hit my CR.
