On my cr this collection account has an of 11/2001 date of first deliquency. It probably will be removed on 11/2008. The account is paid an full, and has been for several years. It was medical bill that my wife suppose to pay. I was wondering if I wrote them a letter stating what happened and would they remove it from my cr. Bascally, the letter would be stating she was suppose to pay the bill. But I was primary insurance holder and we both would sign and notorize the letter. I would hate for them to remove it from my credit report and place it on hers. due to the fact the seven year period is almost over. Or should I leave everything as is? Date of 1 st Delinquency:
