Once a negative item is removed, how long until the agencies update the file (score)?

We had identity theft and had 2 items removed. But we would like to find out how long until they actually update the score so we don't have to pay for rapid rescore? We did it about a week and a half ago.

Also, how long for credit cards that we recently paid to below 20 percent to show on the reports? Can those be rapid rescored?

Yes, we are sort of in a rush. We just want as fast as they can go, nothing out of the ordinary! Thanks in advance!

Did you send the ID theft report to the CRA or the creditor?

Per FCRA, if you sent all this information to the CRA, they must block it within 4 days.

I don't know much about rapid rescore, you may ask about it over on the mortgage forum.

The CC should be update within a few days of the creditor reporting, but could take longer.
