Open vs. Closed Accounts

Do closed accounts have much bearing on my fico? For example a closed B of A account that was 30 days late twice. Thanks.

Re: Open vs. Closed Accounts

As far as I know, the same effect as open accounts.  It is how long ago and how many times and how late that matters.  But it will drop off after it has been closed 10 years
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid
