I settled my dell acount with oxford management for half the balance owed which they sent me a letter saying it was settled in full. Dell update the account to the cra's finally but still are saying i owe the other half on the CRA and when i sent the letter from the CA stating settled in full with a dispute to eq it cameback as still showing I owed half the balance left. so i contacted the CA and this is the meail they sent me back
"There is the difference in settling the account and paying the account
in
full. You settled the account and so it should show settled with a
balance."

Every other account settled in full in my life time has never had a balance left i wrote her. thats the whole settled in full part am i wrong?
