PFD 2 times already and no response

I have PFD ER Solutions twice already and I have not received a response from them. The debt is for Washington Mutual from December of 06 and I want to pay it but not without deleting the collection account from my CR. Should I try to DV the CA to see if I get any response from?

Re: PFD 2 times already and no response

I'd DV if you haven't done so.

Keep your SOL in mind.

A CA or OC do not have to accept a PFD, though it would be a heck of a lot easier if they did.

Re: PFD 2 times already and no response

Always keep in mind your SOL!   You should always DV a CA  before doing anything else (PFD)

Check to see if CAs must be licensed in your state...if so are they?

You say the debt is from 2006....what is the DOFD or DOLA  from your CR?

Re: PFD 2 times already and no response

The date that is was placed for collection was 1/2007. The last report/update date is 3/2007. I am not sure which one is the DOFD or DOLA. I did notice a change on my TU CR: the report date change to 12/2007. Now I am thinking that they did get my first PFD, ignored it, and updated the report date.
