PFD question...gave me a deadline

Ok, quick rundown...

I owed money for an old overdraft to a credit union from 2005.

I sent a PFD for the amount, and they replied, agreeing to delete if paid by the 25th of FEB.

I didn't have enough to cover the amount due on the 25th, however I do have it today (1 march).

Should I go ahead and just send the certified funds and pray they still honor the signed letter that they sent me?

Or, should I send a new PFD?

any tips would be appreciated.

I'd call them and explain you didn't have the funds on Feb 25th, but have a cashiers check in hand to send at the very moment.

Might have been better for you to call them BEFORE Feb 25th, but too late now.

I would if it were me! What have you got to loose? Have you tried calling them to see if it's acceptable?

okay, I'm a 'tard...

I forgot today was Saturday...

They told me to call back on Monday. I will call asap Monday morning.
