Past Due payment on my credit report

Question:

I have two past due/late payments recorded on my credit reports. Both of them are from

November 2001.

If they stay on my credit report for 7 years, can I expect that they will be taken off my credit reports this year (November 2008)?

And when they are taken off, can I expect my Fico score to go up?

Yes they should drop off in 11/08. Your scores might go up some but I wouldn't expect much because these lates are very old. Your milage may vary though!
