I was a bit (okay maybe alot) careless with my credit when I was 18 and seven years later, I'm trying to rebuild my credit. I am more financially stable and doing great on my current cards and student loan payments. BUT I have two accounts that were sent off to collections and closed by the grantors. What kind of impact would it have on my credit score if I wanted to pay those off?
