PPT is being phased out in VA - it has dropped each year since 2004 or so.  Also as your car ages the taxes decrease since it is based on the value of your car (usually KBB).

Makes sense, the car I had was brand new and the ones I have now are early 2000's. Guess I will just pay the darn thing so they can stop reporting.
 
I think I am getting addicted to this site as I was off 30 minutes ago and haven't been able to close my Windows Explorer lol
