When i first signed up for Myfico it was sep of 05. It was a promotion to check my report. Back then never even thought about my credit. However now i see the importance of credit. ITs everything. My scores back then were
TU: 451
Ex: 462
Eq: 457
I didnt actively start working on my credit until March of 08. Since then I have had 3 collections removed, students loans in a rehab program (which i will complete in Nov ) applied and received the BOA 99/500 card, Orchard Bank card, Macy's store card, and the Crown Jewelers card. My scores now are:
Tu: 568
Ex: 622
Eq: 603
Thats without Macy's or Crown Jewelers reporting ( should happen by next week)
I have worked hard to this point. late nights researching, calling, long lines at the post office. Today I faxed the CRA for another 2 collection that I DV'ed and heard nothing. Well just letting you guys know that there is hope. Dont give up. Thank you all for the help!!! couldnt do it without this board!!!
