Question about CC posting payment history

If I PIF before a cycle date and post a $0 balance, will the CC/bank report an on time payment made? I'm trying to establish a solid payment history. But if I'm only posting a balance on 2of10 cards will those be the only ones showing on time payments when I PIF when my statement generates?

Re: Question about CC posting payment history

Yes, they will all report the account as paid on time/as agreed. Some card issuers even list the last payment date and amount under the account details, along with the highest balance either during that cycle, or ever in the history of the account. Same if you don't use your card at all during a cycle - you would have no balance due, no payment made, but it will still report as paid for that month.

Re: Question about CC posting payment history

As long as you pay minimum balance due whether its $0 or $90. Anything will show paid on time. It doesn't have to be PIF as long as the minimum balance is paid .
