Question about a repo

I am trying to help a friend out but we are running into a bit of an issue...

He had a repo many years back on a Kia... why he would buy that car I dont know.. but that is besides the point.

Basically he got a loan on the car in Texas.  He then relocated to MD.  Now for some reason he made a payment late and didnt go through in time and they were at his door the following day to repo the car.  They repo's the car while he was in MD.

Now my question is....  which states SOL would he need to watch for? TX or MD?  and what is the SOL for these states (if anyone knows off the top of their head).

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Thank you,

Shawn

Re: Question about a repo

Alright....  I just got his credit report pulled...  This account is in collection and also under Judgements.
This same account is under Judgement 3 different times.

Experian shows:

Filed: 11/13/2002
Action Amount: $2461

Equifax shows this twice:

Filed: 11/2002
Action amount: $2955

Filed 11/2002
Action Amount: $2546

This is not reported on Transunion at all.  Im not sure what they were trying to do but waht can I/ should I do about this?  Would it be wise to try and make them verify?  Or should I just send a correction letter to the CRA's?
