Question about an old Settled account, that I wish to Reopen. Any help appreciated.

I had a settled account with Chase Credit a few years back, and I am hoping to maybe get it reopened, and pay back the amount that was left owed. I would like the account ultimately deleted or perhaps just mentioned as PIF, which since I live in NYC, should bring the reporting down to only 5 years.

Is this possible? Once chase accepted a settlement, would they not reopen the account to accept payment. Anyone with any experience or knowledge of this, please help. Thanks.

Now it may be posible to get bak into their "good graces" or even change the comments on your credit report.

I highly doubt they will re-open an account after 90 days.
