Back in 2003 I had a Spiegel CC . Spiegel went bankrupt and FCNB sold the accounts to Card processing center. I stopped paying them a year after that.
I know this account has been sold to several JDC since then, the latest one being Midland Management.
I want to know exactly when my last payment was and what JDC rightfully owns this debt.
My question is if I call Card Processing center who took over the accounts after Spiegel folded and ask them for this information will they give it to me? And also will they call who ever owns this debt now and tell them I contacted them?
