Quick Question...

What does GEMB mean next to a creditor's name? Is that a good thing or bad? I have seen these letters on a couple of my creditors (which are either in collections or still in need of being paid).

GE Money Bank (it's the financial institution who is actually giving you the credit.

GEMB is the financial institution that actually issues the card.
