Removing account from bureau

I had an old CC with BofA which went to collections. I paid the CA and they removed it from my bureau as agreed. But BofA still shows that the balance under "transferred". Can I send a GW letter to BofA? What is the best way to approach it?

Yes.. let BofA know you paid the CA as well.

Would it be better to call? or send them a letter? Is there anything else I should add in the letter? or should it just state that I paid the balance.

Calling is fine.. tell them you can fax proof if needed
