Removing late payment history

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum here and this will be my first post and question. 

I have several late payments showing on my Equifax report with my student loans.  Does anyone know of a way I might have these removed?

Also, wondering how long it would take for these to drop off?

1 time (Jul 2001) 60 days late

1 time (Aug 2001) 90+ days late

5 times (Nov 2004, Aug 2004) 60 days late

2 times (Dec 2003) 90+ days late

Hi and welcome to myfico forums. Many of use a GW (goodwill) letter to try and remove late payments. I recommend you first read the credit scoring 101 thread. There is a link in this thread that contains sample letters, just customize it to your situation. If you would like feedback on any letter you write feel free to post it in the forums. GL
