Rent and dti

I currently rent my home. When applying for credit is my rent payment considered part of my dti?

No doubt iris. Every lender will ask you. How much you pay for mortgage or rent.  To see what is leftover. They don't want the chicken feed if too many bills.

I never know what to put.I live with my GF and she owns the house. I pay her 1/2 the mortgage but its not in writing, we have no lease agreement. It was easy on the joint application since the bank told me to leave rent off since econdary applicant owned and i live with her

In that case you don't pay rent. Or you can put the amount you pay in mortgage. Conscience be your guide.
