Hello! Really enjoying reading and learning over the last few days since I discovered this board. I recently had my car repossessed. It was a lemon and shop bills were equal or greater than my payment. Anyway, I owe about $4000 on it which I intend to pay, but can't do it all at once. Before contacting the bank to see if they'd work with me, I'm seeking a little advice. Should I start with a good will letter with my payment terms and see if they bite? I could throw about $500 a month at it. Is it a waste of time to try to get this off my CR ??!?! Just didn't want to make a first "wrong" move before consulting the "experts." Thanks for any/all help!
